Two short things I’d like to touch on today. First, Cents for iPhone and iPod Touch. We already coded the whole app, but decided it wasn’t quite up to par with our own expectations. Thus, we’ve started again from scratch to make sure we’re bringing you quality apps. More on that later.
Second, we’re quite aware of the export bug that found it’s way into our desktop version! We’re sorry for making everyone wait, but rest assured, we have found a solution. The new update should be released (possibly with some new features) by the end of the week.
Can’t wait for the iPhone app, all the other expense apps on the iPhone are lacking in some way. Please consider how quick and easy the process of entering things in is. For some reason, none of the current apps (that I am aware of) choose to use the large keypad (like the phone app, or 1Password) to enter in dollar amounts. It’s much more of a pain to use the standard keyboard, and the calendar-number dials take too long. Looking forward to your release.
