Introducing Cents, a pocket app for your pocket change. It offers a clutter-free interface that sits nicely in your menubar. It’ll help you find out exactly where all your spare cash is going. Check it out!
I held a fun little contest among the MacThemes community to guess the name of this app just from its icon. Here’s an interesting list of names guessed: iMoney, iCash, Little boys money, PocketMoney, something ridiculous, MageMoney, Coins, Money, Change, iCoins, CoinCounter, Cash, Cashier, MacMage, PocketChange, Pocket Money, Carrier, Coinage, Currency, Coins, PickPocket, Chips, Pennies, Budget, Moolah, Gerudo, Yoink (huh?), Thieves, Wages, and Euros. Congrats to user jbanger for correctly guessing “Cents.”
I realize that we didnt include any form of email support in the application, but that’s something we definitely plan on adding in the future (hopefully without cluttering the interface). I’ve fixed the bug and I’ll send it out with the next update.

There seems to be a bug… I launched Cents for the first time, told it I didn’t want to launch at login, nor check for updates. Clicked on the cents icon (cute window btw), clicked Preferences, and the checkbox for launch at login was checked. Not only that, it’s added as a Login Item in sysprefs. If you’re going to ask the user, you might want to actually care about their response.
Otherwise… a nice little app.
